Description

We are a boutique recruiting firm specializing in Finance & Accounting, Customer Operations, and Human Resources. We are currently working on multiple revenue positions within the greater Boston area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review and approve complex, multi-element agreements to support compliance with GAAP (ASC 605 & 606), Company’s revenue recognition policy and applicable external authoritative literature and internal guidelines

Responsible for providing revenue recognition guidance from an external perspective as issues and questions arise

Assist in the completion of the annual sales revenue recognition to be in compliance with the company’s SOX regulations

Work with cross-functional groups to ensure that agreements are structured in a way that ensures revenue will be recognized properly while following all commercial internal policies and procedures

Key member of team for adoption and implementation of ASC 606 revenue recognition rules

Participate in monthly/quarterly close process including review of analysis of key revenue & related accounts

Coordinate the preparation and review of BESP and VSOE analysis required to allocate revenue

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, MBA a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • 2+ years Revenue Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and SOX
  • Ability to complete multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Self motivated, organized, analytical and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Advanced Excel skills
